morning i found your channel as this happened to me this morning i went to open the door to pack the car for a mornings fishing and the handle just snapped off from the inside so i am off to screwfix later instead i can sit in the garden later and eat my fishing lunch with my flask of coffee many thanks buddy cheers for sharing 👍👍

Yea good info. But how do I open the door if the square part of the mechanism the spindle goes through is completly broken inside. Any one any ideas. Thanks.

I've got an old handle fitting with an extra interior lock fitting above the handle. Can I replace it with a handle fitting without using it?
