Make sure you have/know your radio security codes before battery replacement. You'll likely have to re-enter them.

Great Batteries, we used these batteries for 25 plus years in my construction buss in all of our equipment when we started up 35 years ago, however not the last few years since they are associated with KLYE BUSCH # NOT HAPPENING We found great service thus far in all of our equipment with Duralast and have disassociated our company from such negativity, where interested in a solid Positive Image and Great Service....

This is the only battery I want on my cars or bikes in 38 years of such. Never had one fail. Don't have to think about them. Last battery was a cheap Chinese crappy "Duracell." Biggest waste of money I ever spent. Had to argue to the death w Batteries Plus and then fake Chinese Duracell (they sold the name to the Chinese!) To get a full refund when the damn piece of crap failed on a Dodge Challenger after 6 months. In AUGUST. This time, it was the Mercury Sable. Huge mistake. 0 warning it was getting discharged. NONE. Once again, if I can't this one to take a charge, I'll buy nothing but another Interstate. I don't care what it costs, long as I never have to go look at it until it fails.

Beware of Interstate Battery Website prices vs actual store prices. They are NEVER the same. Most franchise store gouge customers. Best to do business elsewhere as I will now do.

Long run, yes. I was told a 2 minute "installation" was 95 DOLLARS. For a place I've gone like 35 YEARS. Lol. I sez no, just hand it to me, I'll do it myself...

They do not honor warranty. I had a bad cell in one of their batteries and they will not replace it even though they confirmed it had a dead cell. They blamed my not driving "15 miles a day" due to working from home as the reason they will not honor the warranty. Are you kidding me? I have a Nissan sports car that I have not driven in 3 months and it starts every time. Defective batteries; horrible customer service and shady salesman at Interstate Batteries. Several phone calls and the person I talk to was always very rude; told me I had to get my car that will not start to them to look. I had it towed to my dealership because they convince me its the alternator. Dealership said its not the alternator and gave me a new battery which works every time even though I am not driving 15 miles daily.

Thanks Emmanuel. Wal-Mart destroyed my battery while changing my oil. I suspect they had something running while the engine was shut down...but couldn't prove it. That battery was in perfect shape. Wal-Mart hires idiots.

You DO have to start the cars often, tho. And move them around, even. Just a bit. Tho it's better to drive it, as they said. Keep your receipts, charge it and argue until they day you die to get a refund. If you have to call them 10x, DO IT. I've never had a problem w these. I've had them on 5 cars. Also, get a plug in battery charger. You can charge it on the car if you have a garage, clip to battery, then plug in. Unplug first. Just in case.

Yeah, but take BASIC precautions. Take your time. Don't do it when in a hurry or mad. Have lots of water on hand in case you have an explosion. Follow the directions on when/how to install it. Wrap anything that might cause a short or sparks (the other terminal) w plastic bag or a rag...you REALLY don't want them to touch with your face there. Battery acid takes a minute before you know you got it on you...thank god we're all sealed batteries now; even small ones like for a bike. Eye protection is smart, too.
