How to Replace a Dixell Digital Temperature controller.

Helpful, thanks. I see a bar code in the lower right corner of the second page for the full manual. My question is how to add or lengthen defrost. Or, even how to tell what the current defrost setting are? If the full manual is down loaded, will the above info be included in this down load? Guess I'll try it.

Really hard the first time to do the configurations but after that. Really easy. Dixell Tech support really nice guys 👍👍👍👍

👍. This is a " Universal " Dixell. Just select the type of unit u are installing it on and No Programming needed. its not like the old controller that u have to program everything. soo nice. 1 Button select , for a Freezer or refrig & away u go. rock & roll. soo nice.

i Just haven't found the right job for it yet. The inkbird is a simple controller ( On or off at temperature only with compressor short cycle protection / a simple switch ) that can only be used on refrigerators or Liquid line solenoid control. it has " No Electric Defrost " capability 😞. This Was a Freezer application , so Had to use a Controller with Electric defrost capability. ive had no Refrigerator controllers fail lately , so its still on the truck. i might have a job for it next week where i need to replace a temp control for a liquid line solenoid that controls a small evaporator on a cooks line pass out cooler. its possible i might use it there.

@ gene --- i don't see why u couldn't. the ink bird use ntc probes just like dixell or carel. i stole the inkbird probe to replace a failed carel probe last week. worked great.

@ Genek --- only difference is inkbird relay is light duty. i recommend use a true relay or contactor with it. only rated for 10 amps max. if only controlling a solenoid no big deal , but a compressor id use a relay or contactor.
