How to replace a fader cap on a Pioneer DJ mixer with P-lock

This is how you remove a fader cap on a Pioneer DJ mixer with P-lock. On many older DJM mixers the whole fader cap is one piece and can easily be pulled off. However, on the newer models the P-lock system is applied.
Parts:
Black fader housing

White locking clip

Gray locking clip

On some crossfaders, you will have to use some parts different from those above. Fint them in our collection of knobs for DJ equipment:
