Hi Kip, are there hardwired variants? I am not an electrician either but have and do change light switches etc, obviously exercising caution and safely.

Not Hue ones, no.. you might be able to find some third party Zigbee compatible switches though. Although I’m always a bit wary of wiring random Chinese stuff in!
