How-To: Replace a Power Seat Switch on a 07-14 Chevy Truck

This should come in handy if the power seats in your Chevy Suburban, Tahoe, Silverado, etc. are mostly working except for one or two of the functions such as forward and/or backward movements.

Great vid same procedure on a 2013 Yukon XL except for the 7mm bolt my Yukon had a T20 screw.

If I want to just turn off the switch by disconnecting the connector would that be bad because the cable would be loose ?

That should be OK. Might want to put some electrical tape over the “live” end to be safe. I am curious to know why you’d want to leave it that way.

@@therealskatedad i know it sounds completely stupid but I have a lot of people using my car currently every time I Get in it i got spend a good 5 minutes just adjusting my seat and mirrors it’s Extremely inconvenient especially when your in a rush thanks for the video 😂👍🏻
