i have a hyundai tiburon gt that was scanned and the code read my purge valve was faulty (although already knew SOMETHING was wrong) filling up takes FOREVER!!!! Anyhow last week car shut off on me while driving and won't crank back up!! had it RESCANNED and it code read anti theft system was in affect!! HELP!!!!!!! I know i need to replace the purge valve sensor, but will that make my car just shut off??

I think if you unplug the battery while you replace the valve it should reset the antitheft system. If not I would look for info online from a mechanics manual for your make and model. Maybe call the Hyundai people and see if they can assist in any way.

It showed just enough. All you need to do is look how to splice wires and your good. Your dealing with fuel so you may have to clamp off lines. But still it's a good video to get you started.
