That should be a 1/4" nut driver so you may have been able to take your screw tip out of the driver and use that. My favorite drill that I carry with my gear is the Milwaukee 4 in 1 install driver. Perfect for rv work especially with the offset and right angle attachments... it's a little pricey but worth it. I recently had to replace the top globe above my shower. It was old and cracked a little so water got between the 2 globes. I couldn't get the globe right away so I still had to cut the caulk and jamb close pins between the 2 so the water would drain out. I couldn't get the smoke finish so had to go with the clear... now my bathroom is super bright.

That’s good to know on the nut driver! I’ll be back up on the roof tomorrow so I’ll check it out. I have a cheap drill buried near the water pump. No fancy attachments yet. Luckily our top dime in the shower is ok. I can’t imagine using a clear dome. Yesterday was so hot we hung a towel up in that window to block the heat!

I may have started to lose my feeling of harmony around the 2 hour mark! If my forearms are sweating, I’m hot! Headed back up early tomorrow to mount two additional solar panels.

Ladders work great for any work on the edges of the RV. 😉👍🏼
@CupcakeChroniclesTC10 ай бұрын
That’s definitely true! But in a smaller truck camper, we just don’t have the room to drive a ladder around!
@coler15410 ай бұрын
@@CupcakeChroniclesTC you could find a really compact telescoping ladder
@CupcakeChroniclesTC10 ай бұрын
@@coler154 that’s a good idea. We’re just always balancing weight vs usefulness of everything we carry. It’s crazy how fast it all adds up. We even go through our clothing regularly to reduce weight.

Did you use a plastic or metal pudding night
@CupcakeChroniclesTC Жыл бұрын
We used a PVC pipe and vent cap.
@desireemillion Жыл бұрын
Why don't you just remove the screw, pull the top off and replace just the top?
@CupcakeChroniclesTC Жыл бұрын
The vent cap itself wasn’t broken. The connection beneath the cap, that holds the vent cap in place, was broken. To replace that portion the entire vent cap assembly needed to be replaced.

Pull the flat driver out and just use the driver itself. It is 1/4"
