@EatSeeRV Жыл бұрын
Hahah no. Not at all. I shared the cost in the video. Clearly you didn't actually watch.
@cwkhonda4 ай бұрын
Seems great, But it wouldn't be for any trailer or rv. The weight alone is a major factor. then there is the skylight. The plastic of the skylight will dry out and crack, then what? from the looks of how this armor has covered the parameter of the skylight. if it had to be replaced, the time to cut it out would probably cost as much as an entire standard TPO or EPDM in materials. I see it now. cost of skylight 100, cost to replace it 1500.00. I'll also add that I noticed the flex armor covers the tops ( last couple inches ) of the vertical rails. While the flex armor will stop any water from intruding the roof, what about the vertical corners of the rear and front trim moldings. those still need maintenance. if for some reason water got past the molding, you'll have to remove and reseal. So you will need to cut the armor flex material from around the trim molding in order to remove it? So I'd guess that would void there warranty.

It's really shocking what the RV makers get away with. If you put a rubber roof on your new screen porch, it would come with up to a 40 year warranty. If it failed any time before that, you'd call the contractor out to fix it. And if he tried to dodge responsibility by saying you didn't get up on the roof each year to reseal it, you'd rightly threaten legal action. If that roof failed in the first 5 years and rotted out a major portion of the roof structure as well, you'd file a complaint with the state against his contractor's license and drag him into court. The contractor would either write you a big check, or skip town in the middle of the night, because any court would rule in your favor. Yet somehow when it comes to RVs, all that is right out the window. We _expect_ the roof to fail in a very short time. We get up on the roof faithfully each year in an attempt to compensate for the dreadful design and material choices of the manufacturer, and we take full responsibility when the inevitable failures occur. A note to the RV makers: I'm not an idiot, and I'm not alone. You're putting yourselves out of business. People know a con when they see one. Enjoy this time you're in where there are still a few suckers left willing to get robbed for your crap product. It won't last much longer.
@cirrus820travelers9 Жыл бұрын
We enjoy the roof material. Only issue is any changes void warranty. Add solar, replace on air antenna, or mushroom roof vents requires an appointment & several hours labor. And our original installer NO longer is contracted or "franchisee"! But we have great comfort knowing most seams are sealed. You still need to inspect ac gaskets to ensure leaves, stems, etc, do not squeeze between roof & gasket. Can still leak there.
@EatSeeRV Жыл бұрын
Yes very good points. That's why it's a good idea to get all of that done when you replace your roof. Our installer here in Prescott uses a cool bolting system and rail system so you can add components to your RV in the future without needing to rebook and redo the roof in those areas!

I'd be interested in hearing about that Starlink antenna. I tried to get one for my house and I'm on a year wait list. Is that how it's going to be mounted all the time? Doesn't seem very aerodynamic. Do you have mobile connectivity or stationary only?
@EatSeeRV Жыл бұрын
We have the RV one made with probability so we can use wherever we go. However we cannot and do not use it when in motion (that's actually grounds for Starlink to end the contract). They do have a mountable one that is made to be up on the roof permanently and can be used in motion but it's $2,500.

I wouldn't have mounted the Starlink antenna on the roof. Too many campsites have trees close by that will ruin the signal. At least with it not mounted you can move the antenna around to get a good signal. I have Starlink at my house and it's the best service ever, but it can be finicky with nearby obstructions.

Now, when are you planning on selling this one??? Im very interested due to the roof work done for me😉. Safe travels and happy trails! P.S. I still like your MO toy hauler. That got me and the wife a toy hauler bug and now on the process of looking for our 43 feet MO to continue our fulltime rv living with our camping gears and machine to home in the toy hauler section😃.

I see the bill of $7300 but you say in the video $6500 which one is right?
@EatSeeRV Жыл бұрын
The $7,300 was the intial quote before they finished work. Some things got taken off the quote because it wasn't needed. They measure what they spray and it was less than what they thought at first! So $6,500 was the end #

Do they have a location down in florida?
@EatSeeRV Жыл бұрын
There are Flex Armor shops in Florida but they are run independently from AZ RV Roof. We got our first one done in Florida.

Cost??
@EatSeeRV Жыл бұрын
I share what we paid in the video and explained the cost will vary depending on your RV length, upgrades, and if there is damage. You should call to get a quote if interested.

I really don’t understand why they can’t make a double hull design really no reason anything needs to be on top of roof why not eliminate the problem
