Just wanted to say thank you for this video. Replaced it in about an hour. The tricky part was getting the starter back in place but other than that, really simple.

Hello Edgar, You are welcome. No telling how many miles until a starter will go out. You can bring it in to an auto parts store to get it tested for free.

Is every starter the same? Does the old starter make a klick sound when you start ist?

Hello Max, Have your starter tested at NAPA or another auto parts store. To see if it is bad. Give them the info about your car. So you get the same kind of starter. Different starters for different engines.
