Installed the new starter and must have hooked the battery cables wrong because turning the key burnt up a lot of wires. Where do the pos and neg cables from the battery connect to the starter?

I recently replaced mine but while putting the cover back on, I broke off one of the five bolts. The long one. It broke at the thread. My question is can it be fixed? Is there a way to get it out

I've got a trx200d. It looks a lot like this, I can't find a video on my exact model. My manual is saying I need to remove the carb and cam chain tensioner. It looks like maybe I don't have to. I'll give it a shot tomato's.
