What I like best about your videos besides them being practical is that you get right to the point. No goofy intros. Keep up the good work.

I just have to say, having suffered through numerous poorly done how-to videos, that this - by far - was the BEST EVER. Clearly shot, clearly explained, good lighting, short and to the point with part numbers and wrench sizes. This is a thing of beauty. Well done.

Great video. I I've owned this machine for About 20 years and it's been flawless. My cable for the drive will did come apart but I just have to screw it back together pretty simple the way it should be

Great vid Donny! Straight forward explanation of the fix. Question for you... i have a Yardworks 27" blower with the 10.5hp Tecumseh motor. Its been running good, but the last few tumes i put my machine in the garage, i notice when i go out the next day, or next time to use it, i smelled gas and found a puddle on the floor under the carb...Ive been shutting off the gas the last 2 times, so as not to get the puddle, but this is a pain in the butt! It doesnt seem to effect the way it runs, but id like to fix this. Thank you and keep up the great vids!

Smashing :-D, i like the use of a spring that applys the correct tension, when set. And the spring makes the adjustment less touchy. Cant beat a simple but effective system.

Hi Don; Great video as allways! The trouble I`m having this year {to early}, is on my Toro Power Max 8/26 the Shift knob when I move the shoot deflecter up & down,everything moves fine but the blue knob on the top is not locking it tight like it us too, its like after I move the shoot up & down or side ways I have to pull up on the blue knob?, when the machine was new it would pop-up & lock by its self. I was going to take-out the philips screw & see if the spring is weak? Is there a spring under the blue cap? I don`t want to " open a can of warms", LOL as I`ve done in the past. Thanks Don.................Maurice.R.

Donny I have an old 21 inch Troy Bilt snowblower. Over the years I've never had a problem with the snowblower except for starting. Which you helped to rectify. But I've always had a problem with their cable set up. Both ends of the cable have an "S" shape bent into the cable that is either babbit or lead coated. Is there an alternitve of connecting the cables. I know it's not right. But 2 years ago I got tired of replacing them. So I just pulled all the slack I could and put a clamp on it.

Good day Don. I have a Toro 1028 snowblower that is slowly leaking at the auger gearbox. Is it a big job to take it apart and replace any gaskets or seals?
@JodiMaiers7 ай бұрын
Because you specified - "Drive Cable", does that mean the auger cable is a different cable than the drive one? I ask because my Auger cable just broke. Wondering if this is same way to fix it?

Hey Dony awsome channel!! I've got a Tecumseh 10.5 hp on a snow blower with a non adjustable carb. It starts great. Idles great but when you go to throttle up if you don't go extremely slow the motor the motor with hesitate and almost stall out before it revs up. After that it runs great. Any ideas?
@raymondcampbell23466 жыл бұрын
You might try removing and cleaning the brass hidden fixed jet also you might need to replace the tiny o ring on it also. The jet is covered with a black plastic cap. Remove the cap with a small pick unscrew the brass jet clean it and screw it back in but just till it stops when it bottoms out. Don't crank on it or you will damage it. The tiny o ring might need a pick to get it out. Don't has a video on just the repair.
