Really helped me out in a pinch today! I had a buddy helping me, and I should have told him to make sure the corner was level. He screwed in the top and bottom with nothing in the middle. It bowed out at least an inch and a half. I used your method and removed small sections of the entire height (almost 22 feet), and then removed the corner post and cut all the vinyl while it was up on the wall. Sure beat taking it all off! Been doing the siding job on my house all summer, and in my rush to finish it, I assumed any help would know what they were doing.

Yep, helpers sometimes are not very helpful! Glad you got it fixed up!

Hello, thank you for sharing your knowledge. Can you; Do a video about the tools you use. And also how to use them properly or not. That would mean a lot to me anyway. Thank you

That’s a good idea! I’ll add it to my list… I have made a video on all my tools that you can find here: Tools needed to install vinyl siding kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2fYpISBmsuGnsU But I haven’t made a video about how to use them.

That downspout fitting is backwards where it enters the long straight spout

Hey, you know what? You are right…. I just put it back together like it was. I guess a little caulking could help it out there. I’m not sure if it leaks at that joint, but there is a good possibility it does. Thanks for pointing that out lol.

Vinyl siding is such garbage… I can’t believe this stuff is used on new homes…can’t even handle the weight of a ladder without cracking! Shameful

Mostly I was concerned about denting it (which can be mostly worked out if you know what you’re doing). Wood siding can also dent and crack from ladders. Vinyl siding has its limitations, as do all siding products.
