I'm out in Idaho in the snow and found that my water pump was leaking. Thanks to your video I'm going to be able to fix it myself! Awesome job!

The torque is 37 ft lbs for the idler pulley bolts, 11 ft lbs for the thermostat bolts, and water pump bolts are 11 ft lbs first pass followed by 22 ft lbs second pass.

You made that look easy. Thanks!

What type of radiator fluid did you use. Funny enough I'm always recommended the orange fluid by stores but when I see videos of repairs on my 04 Suburban the fluids always green. Confusing....

Honestly, I don't believe it truly makes a big difference. People are going to "sell" the product that makes the most profit. I'm not particular and I don't really look at the price. I merely prefer a premix solution and don't bother with the color. With that said, it seems that my foreign vehicles tend to have orange whereas my Chevy tends to always be green..

Did you say 11 ft. lbs. or should this be 11 in. lbs. ?? to torque the bolts.
@qparker79474 ай бұрын
I notice you did use any gasket sealer or silicone, why is that?
@LoneStarMini4 ай бұрын
@@qparker7947 in most cases. A gasket sealer is not required nor recommended. Just make sure the surface is clean from all residue or buildup.
