How many speed sensors are there?

4, for each wheel, it is needed for traction logic.

Damn that came out very easy I have a 2004 BMW 325i,, my car goes into like a limp or safe mode while I'm driving at higher speeds,, my eml traction control light and the red brake light go on and that's when it shuts down the power,, can that be one of the abs speed sencers??

@@FreeChansey I'm gonna replace my oxygen sencers in the Exhaust put a new short ram air intake spray the MAF sencer and last replace the fuel filter if needed and hopefully that solves this Issue,, after all that is done I will let u know I'd that solved my issue,, I bought 2 front abs speed sencers but that ain't my issue cause the 2 on my car r not damaged and work fine,,

William Avery thanks for the response. I’m still trying to figure it out as well. This issue only happened to me when I was changing my cv boot, hits why I think it’s the abs sensor. Might have bumped it weird or something.

I just bought a 4 pack of these and im wondering if it matters which side they go on (left or right)? They didn’t specify on the package

I’m going to change my pad and disk on my bmw but I don’t have the cable it will arrive to late can they still fix my break

The "clicks" of the connector that goes to the motor broke (they were dry from the years), so I cannot hook the connector well, and it gives me error P0500, when it did not give it before. My intention was to clean the system. Do you know how I could solve this? Thank you.

I had a beep, then my traction control and yellow brake light come on. I looked on some forums and they said it's the speed sensor. I'm hoping this will help me out.

unfortunately for my e92 they wouldnt take. "accidental recognition". replace the sensors yourself sure, but buy OEM parts from bmw or it may not work
