My clutch is squealing all the time off and on. I just run with the windows down in the summer but now it’s winter and it’s still squealing while the heat is on. Is the compressor supposed to be running while the heat is on?

I recommend *following this video, and taking off the passenger wheel / fender liner. *Removal of the serpentine belt and shields is unnecessary. Take the wheel and fender liner off for ease of access, especially if you are doing lines, and/or the accumulator, and/or you have rear AC. The compressor can be a struggle to remove from the passenger side. A couple 10mm bolts and plastic clips can be a lot easier than wedging the compressor out over the frame. The mechanical fan can be removed with a large wrench and holding the pulley with your hand, or rent a tool from the auto parts store.
