Yup take ur time installing it and change the compressor relay it might come in the box with compressor Make sure u pull the fuse before u start

On the airline the top metal piece there is a small round screw that can be easily broken at the very top. I used my needle nosed wrench to break it off. That allowed me to pull off the metal piece at the end so that I could push the air compressor line into the pump

@@RBTheMechanic No typos all over the place lol I was saying that the metal small piece on the white air suspension line, I just used my needle nose pliers to break it off. Once the small top metal piece broke off I was able to just pull the rest off to free up the line so that I could push it in the new compressor

I bought AMK / Arnott Compressor for my GL450, and it came with a Relay . it's a black cube thing, but I don't see a black cube relay in the fuse box (under the hood on the passenger side). All the cube relays in that fuse box are colorful, not black. Which one am I suppose to replace?

Zar Jacob these benzs are a piece of shit. Almost everything that can go wrong has happen to mines. As a result I can build the damn car myself with the exception of downloading software. Lucky I have a friend who can do it for me.

Forgot to put the clamp back on the air intake line on the compressor, its gonna pop off and suck dust & dirt again into the new compressor & the valve block. Always replace the intake filter whenever you replace the compressor… $6 for Mann WK32/7. At the dealer it comes with the hose for $160

Bro great video i know its 2 years old. My gl450 got the MALFUNCTION for suspension i cant scan the air suspension for some odd reason...any advice how can i raise it or or to fix that issue

Well check ur fuse that one u see me pull in this video other wise start up the car and try to listen to see if ur pump come on u should be able to heat it also u can touch it from up too so u can put out ur hand and feel it if it dosent come on then most likely ur pump is bad it’s common on these

GL450 2011-Bro I changed the valve body block, repaired the cracked compressor intake hose, replaced the intake filter, replaced the 40 amp fuse, replaced last year both front air springs but I still have the level malfunction? can you give me advice on whats going on, I dont want to pay the dealer $179 for diagnoses. I have 2011 450 gl. It was my air shocks that needed to be changed not the air pump

Usully that would lean the car down if it’s slow leak but if it’s large leak pump will keep running and car will not stay up

Scan the car it could be low rpm!! What is the rpm Maybe throttle cleaning will help

Good practice is to change the Pump filter and a new relay at the same time, only another $25
