Thank you! I used this video to replace mine. It was as easy as the video showed. I don't like messing with stuff unless I know what I'm getting into / what I'm doing. This helped a lot! The hardest part was finding the one single 15mm socket we had. My dad said 9/16 would be close... it was not close enough. Using a regular 15mm wrench to take the tension off enough to get the belt off and on was fun...

I am curious, the video doesnt show the clutch pulley, is that an original 2005 Liberty 3.7 Denso alternator? its hard to find a replacement alternator with an original INA F-236151 pulley, the OAD pulley makes sense but we didnt have any of that growing up, does it really make that much of a difference if you just put a solid pulley alternator on? I see you don't have a clutch pulley does it matter? And can any alternator shaft accept a pulley if I can find one or are shafts on alternators with pulleys different.

It is not a direct replacment without the clutch pulley which came with the Jeep Liberty originally. The clutch pulley can be identified with a black cap on the end and does not function the same as whats being sold everywhere as an original OE part.

Bought my daughter a 2007 liberty with 63,000 miles. Owned by an elderly man since new. It has been a really annoying headache. I'll never buy another post-2000 Jeep ever again.
