What a great video. I just today put an alternator in my 2011 Dodge Ram, step by step with your video. You know what i did? Every time I removed something, " I set it aside."😂 Only problem I had was I couldn't find right away where the 3/8 hole was to release tension, to loosen band. I laid underneath the truck, looking up, and was able to find. I can't change the cap on a jar of mayo, but I changed my alternator today, Thanks to you.

Great video! Could you have used a pry bar between the alternator and it's mount to pry up on it if you didn't have an dead blow hammer?

I have a 2012 dodge ram hemi, when I push down on the tensioner, it doesn’t do anything because that’s all the way tight, however when I go the opposite direction it loosens to where the bolt is almost coming out yet I can still not get the belt off

That's not the alternator for my twenty fifteen ram fifteen hundred. Mines down behind the wheel, by the wheel well
