How to replace and modify your Tesla Model 3 and Y Day Time Running Lights DRL to Bright Yellow

Nice vid. Quick question, I have 2023 T-Y. I had the headlamp replaced, both left and right under warranty. In the future, if let's say the headlights fail me, can the LED be changed without having to replace the entire headlamp assembly which is like $2K?

Great question! I am in the middle of doing a write up on this, it depends on what headlights they installed.

I'm pretty techy and lucky enough to have a cousin in the car electrical world. I will most likely break the seal and take apart the headlamp to see if I can change the LED lamps only. I am certain mine is the non matrix set.

I am a Canadian and found a 2022 Tesla M3 in Massachusetts. We have to have daytime running lights here. Is this on US models too?

Yes they all have DRL’s

It never occurred to not be ass?Yes the modification is the small board which is better and brighter also can make it yellow if u wanted.Great video Chad, u were super detailed!
