Is it possible to rebuild this battery cluster replacing the cells with a set of 9900mHa 18650's and get a higher compacity? The replacement packs for this laptop that im finding are only 2200mHa? Or is it even worth the effort where as the cost of materials are about the same except for the complete replacement pack being slightly cheaper by about $4?

I doubt you will find a proper 9900mah cells on the market. By my opinion it doesn't worth the effort. Sometimes you have to reprogram the memory of the battery.

Does this laptop have a CMOS battery? If so where is it located, I took it apart and could not locate any cmos battery
