Great video for the Tacoma brake fluid replacement procedure. Step 5 calls out," Vacuum out desired amount." I know some techs are looking for the change in fluid color to know when to stop. Additionally, those rear brake lines are going to have more fluid than the front brake lines. The mightyvac container does have lines for up to 4 oz of collection. This can be helpful in determining how to utilize a brand new 32 oz container of new DOT 3 brake fluid. Thanks for the great tutorial!

Does changing brake fluid make a noticeable difference with the braking performance of the vehicle?
@teamoildrop8 күн бұрын
If the existing fluid was contaminated with some moisture, yes you should see an improvement in stopping force and pedal feel. However any improvements may not be as drastic as say replacing the pads themselves. This one sorta just depends on the condition of the fluid you’re replacing. -Austin

I just did this recently and when I cracked the bleeder and pumped the brakes it wasn’t forcing fluid out. Why would that be?
