You installed it incorrectly if u followed this video, both filters should point airflow towards the seat not each other

Do the air bags usually go off on people if they go a little to hard?

We have not experienced this but you can disconnect the battery. Then let the car sit a few hours and then change out the cabin air filter.

The airbox cover is incorrectly reinstalled in this video. Be sure to engage the tabs into the slots before reinstalling the four screws securing the cover. The air to the "sensor" in this video is actually attached to the 12V aux power supply, AKA the cigarette lighter outlet.
