Thanks for the vid! Dumb on chevys part to have multiple torx screws to change something as simple as the cabin filter. Now I have to hunt down a torx set. Not sure why Phillips head doesn’t cut it for an air filter.

Finally GM makes cabin filters for Tahoe's and Silverado's. I can't believe the older models didn't have them...well you actually had to cut away something to actually add one and buy a filter cover as well separately.

Yes, The old designs were bad and half of the trucks did not have the option.

We have found a few through the years of doing this. Its good to change your filter once a year or every 15,000 miles.

Bet that filter was over due full of mouse piss and droppings. Yuck Just changed mine with 46K on it and it was covered in what looked like insulation off engine bay by mice.
