Where does that bottom hose attach to, is it part of the Heater Hose Assembly? I'm trying to bypass the heater core with a u-shaped line at the pump since it's leaking and don't feel like ripping the dash apart to replace the core but not sure if the reservoir is linked in there somewhere with some sort of Y-shaped hard plastic piece.

It's also just one more hose clamp to completely remove the air hose so you don't have to fight it at all.

The new overflow tank I bought has a plug on it my overflow tank did not have one does this matter
@1AAuto
@1AAuto 3 жыл бұрын
+Larry Evans Thanks for watching! It sounds like the one you ordered has a low fluid sensor, which some vehicles have. If your original does not have this plug then the new one will not work.

My 2001 silverado 1500 v6 my engine started to act up today , i popped the hood to take a look , i noticed the coolant reservoir empty , i then filled it took it for a spin , i came back n checked again and the reservoir was empty again , then checked my engine oil dip stick the entire stick was toped off with oil mixed with water, no my truck was not overheating it started to stall and just turned off ? Wat could cause this and fix it

+Jose Soto Thanks for watching! Unfortunately if you have coolant and engine or transmission oil mixing that is not a good thing. We recommend you have your vehicle towed to a trusted garage and have them take a look at how extensive the issue is. 1aauto.com
