I followed your video and it was just as easy as you describe only I just took a sharpie and noted the wires and position with a b c d ... so the re attachment was streamlined. I was having an issue with the vehicle stalling out while driving and so I started with having my system checked battery/alternator/starter all functioned well so next was plugs wires and distribution of electrical.

Nice video but i was wondering if you ever changed a distributor on a 1988 e350 7.5litre engine? Im looking on how to change it since there is little clearance under the hood compared to a truck. Thankyou

The theory behind the components (cap, rotor, and wires) are the same. It should be a much easier job. I did my 5.0 F-150, and it isn’t a bad job, but there isn’t a whole lot of room.

ok i did that but my truck acts like it wants to start and turn over but still wont im hoping its just a battery replacement and im good to go but ive been told i need to replace the ignition control module and i have no clue where that is located in the truck.

neo5387 Driver side front panel under the hood. Should be about 4.5 inches long and will have two holes on it. Think mine needs the same. happy repairs!

@@neo5387 if youbhave the f150 or bronco 95-96 I know the ignition module is below the ecc test component. The ignition coil is on the fire wall you can track the distributor wire right to the coil.
