I found that by lowering window first, removing window slides, you don't have to remove the regulator. Just raise window and tape.

You had lock clip pointed wrong and fixed it correctly- what did you do to get it to fit correctly? Looks like it was a different lock cylinder- I am having same problem

I just want to say you’ve got the best video the best pictures of how the door lock mechanism goes into the door handle because mine could go either way I’m gonna find a good video that showed how the door lock went in the door handle good job thanks

I just did this job, I was look for info on removing the lock tumbler I did not not need to separate the regulartor from inner plate.(rivets) If you let the window drop in track when plate is free, the plate drops and you can get your wrench to the handle bolt inside door. The lock and latch contro rods can be removed by pulling handle out from exterior side to access the rod securing clips. Door latch has to be un-bolted.

Cutting the rivets and removing that whole inner panel seems awfully excessive. I'll just remove the 3 torx screws on the latch to gain a bit of play on the handle/lock end.

@@JesusSaves86AB We've been trying the "no removal" technique for hours and can't get the lock cylinder to latch back into the handle properly. Going to try this removal method next. We have new lock cyls and new handles but they just won't latch -- they just push right out again.

OK.. so why not tell viewers at 8:22 of the video you actually broke the door handle clip !!!! You then cover it up with your thumb, but still dont tell viewers you had to replace door handle !!! When removing lock from handle that is NOT how to do it.. Stop posting videos if you cant be honest !!!

8:21 Jesus Christ, completely unnecessary. If I were your customer, you'd be buying me a brand new door handle assembly. That rusty piece on the door lock cylinder has a tension spring. All you had to do was press down on that rusty piece, and then pull out on the door lock cylinder while continuing to press down on that rusty piece. Absolutely no need to break the plastic of the door handle.
