Great job I loved watching you fix that. I’m a girl but I want to learn to work on cars so I don’t have to run to the shop every time something happens. You explained everything very easily and you filmed everything very good so I subscribed I can’t wait to learn more from you thank you and God bless you.

What issues did the busted inboard joint have? Did it make noises, binding, or just the greasy mess it left?
@RBTheMechanic3 жыл бұрын
Greasy mess and it was making click click click noise on sharp turns

@@RBTheMechanic sounds good. Thanks for the very informative video. I’m about to do both axles on my 2007 and was able to pack all the tools I need to do it at home.

@@RBTheMechanic it was pretty easy to replace. The passenger side had 2 13mm bolts holding a bracket to the center bearing. No snap ring on the splines. Cleaned off the greasy mess and saw the play on the rh inboard joint. Lost a bit of fluid, but warmed up the transmission, then checked again. Didn’t reset the wear counter since I didn’t do a complete fluid flush.

You didn't use a torque wrench in any of the bolts or nuts so I'm giving you 2 stars. Good video but do better next time.
