how to replace drivers side window 1987 suburban

its actually an 1988 but that was a funny year for parts so I always ask for 87 . I hope this is helpful . pro tip put the side view mirror somewhere safe lol !

Wow what a pain in the glass of a truck you have there. I wish you had actually shown the install on both the glass and the vent window. At least you answered my question on that you have to remove the vent window to change the drivers glass. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

That glass must have been out of a 91 suburban with the plastic mirrors that's what the black out line is for on your glass

You showed everything except for the part I have a question with which involves when setting the new glass into the old bracket size that piece is holding the broken crumbs still in that bracket if I pull all that out of there what do I use for a rubber fulfillment to go back inside of that to hold my new glass

Can't help you there the window i got used from a scrapper and it had the bottom bracket attached already . So I never had to put just glass in a new bracket. But im sure just about any good glass Caulk would do or butle .

@@6bettyboo9 Can't say it's easier, but I unbolted the window regulator, Jimmy'd the old window metal around inside the door until I could get it off the rollers. Unbolted one window track for some room, then Turned the window sideways and slid it down inside the door. Spun it, and got everything lined up with the tracks, bolted em back in. Then got the window regulator back in the roller channel like you would if you bought a new regulator.
