This was very helpful. It was a bit simplistic about how to lift the hood but I know some folks need that.The detail in the rest was spot in. It made changing the filter a piece of cake.

Thanks!! I get bothered when I look up what size filter to buy with proper detail, filters are located, then the site prompts to put the rltrim in then it shows message, "looks like this won't fit this vehicle. " The details, trim etc are directly from the VIN #. 😑

Great video. So many videos talk you through what to do but their hands cover up every thing and you see nothing. This or they have poor lighting and constantly apologize for it. Hands in the way don't help and dark video does no better. Thanks you! This is how a HOW TO video should be. Slow and where you can visually see what is going on as it's explained. THANKS this was perfect!

Thanks, very useful. I noticed just one more thing. On my filter there are arrows for left and right how should be installed. The left and right it is from looking at the car from the front when you install the filter or from how you sit in the car on the steering wheel ? I couldn't see if yours has something similar. Hmm, I don't believe mine had either. It shouldn't really make a difference as long as the filter is positioned as I did in the video here..hope this helps

Pretty reliable. I have 3 close friends who all have the 2014-2018 Mazda 3 and they have owned for ~5 years and no real issues. Just normal maintenance.

I have a 2014 Mazda 3 and I'm getting really bad gas mileage. I never check the air filter. I will check now to see if it needs to be replaced. How much increase in gas mileage will I see if I replace the dirty filter with a new clean filter?

It depends on how bad the air filter is. But it won't just be an improvement in gas mileage but also overall engine performance
