Do you have a video showing the removal of that engine?

Hi you said the engine that you're working on our timing belt that you working on had 213,000 miles is that about the time that the timing belt needs changing or earlier

I think the MDX calls for a new timing belt every 105,000 miles. These service intervals can vary from car to car and engine to engine. Always check the owners manual as it should tell you when this service needs to be done. The timing belt installed in this video was this cars 2nd replacement timing belt.

it could start as soon as 65 k miles if you used your car in severe conditions, if not the recommended changing of a timing belt starts at 105,000 miles as required by Acura. I hope it helps

Do you have the torque specs for everything? Thanks

The mdx forum has lots of info on these vehicles. A bit of search will easily yield all of the torque specs for this process.

Parts were about $400 and a week to do it meticulously. To have a shop do it would be I dont know how much. Located on the west coast.

cardesinr what I didn't get that but ok I'll figure it out thanks!

I purchased $400 in parts and did it my self. If you want to know what a shop would charge to do it, you will have to go ask them. Maybe this is phrased better than my last response.

How about calling it the right side of the engine not the front of the engine because it’s the right side OK great!
