When I try to remove the first bolt, the "lock bolt" just behind it spins also. Its like the whole assembly presses outward. Any advice here? Wonderful video!

This is the first time putting front pads on a Camry. They were more difficult than expected due to the tight clearances. Listen to this seasoned mechanic. Do not replace the spring pads at the end of the shoes unless necessary. I did on the first side reasoning the existing pads were in for 90 K and why would I not replace with the new parts since they are provided. Consequently, I spent a half hour fitting the pads and in the end I went back to two of the old clips to get the pads in place. The other side went in much easier since I used the old clips. Also, I learned to cock the pads to the rear and start the pad at the top, pushing up and rotating to get the lower part of the pad in place. This is tight. Normally, I find I have to grind off a little on the end of the pads to get them to fit. I did not this time. Maybe I should have. There is a slight rubbing sound when I go around a tight corner or if I hit the brakes hard. I did not reface the rotors because they were in such good shape. I am guessing the rubbing noise comes from the rusty edges on either side of the rotor shiny surfaces and will go away as the pads seat in. This rubbing is a first in all the pads replacements I have done. Thanks for the video.

Good video, for DIY , you should secure the caliper with a wire to prevent it from falling accidentally because it could get damaged especially the brakes hose

Nice job- Subscribed. Three points. 1/ Remove the brake reservoir cap and check fluid level prior to and while reseating the pistons. 2/ Torque all nuts and bolts to mfr. specs. 3/ Apply brake pad grease on metal to metal contact points.
