Just ordered the complete kit for about $40 less than what the auto parts stores wanted for just the front pads and rotors. You all are beyond awesome in my book.

DO NOT PLAY WITH THAT BLEEDER .. JUST PUSH THE PISTON .. COZ. IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY YOU WILL PUT AIR IN THE SYSTEM .. SO DONT UNSCREW THAT BLEEDER .. JUST PUSH THE PISTON IN .. WITH A BIG SCREW DRIVER . BY PLACING IT BETWEEN THE DISC AND THE PAD ..... ITS EASY . FAST .. AND SAFE

Yeah personally I’ve never seen that everyone says it’s okay to just push it in and just take off the brake fluid cap but the rest of the video was great

If you have a large C-Clamp use the old brake pad across the piston and slowly tighten the C-Clamp to compress it.

I am about to attempt a Break Swap on my 07 elantra rotors and pads and this was excellent and informative. This is what YT should be about. I have a small question in the beginning with the bleeder do you absolutely have to do that? Or can it be done with regular vicegrips if you dont have a star socket?

Wish I had the tools you guys have. Pins siezed up. Bolts that are on the housing are rusted, can't get them off without powertools. Just had to order a new housing, unfortunately. Great video and taught me a few things. Thanks again for the information.

Can you explain what you mean by you wanna make sure the bleeder is open before pushing the pistons in ? Reason I’m asking is you broke it open and then tightened it again with a regular socket.

Pinching an older rubber flex line can cause damage to the interior of the line resulting in restriction of fluid flow. Only pinch new/newer lines.

Are the front calipers the same as the back on a 2007 hyundai elantra ? Can't seem to find rear calipers on 1aauto
@irisbaez19722 жыл бұрын
