New Brake Rotor Set from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1APBR01290
Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes. This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ brake pads and rotors on your 2014-2020 Nissan Rogue.

Awesome videos. They are very helpful and great because you include the torque specs and proper cleaning and lube application. One thing though, by all means, please don't use red thread locker on bolts because it is permanent and requires heat to remove it. Blue threadlocker is what should be used on anything that would require subsequent maintenance but would still require a firm hold.

I changed my own pads today, it had no springs on the clip things when I first looked 👀 I noticed but idk the consequences of that, but i put new hardware on that had everything but i was thinking like why tf does it not have any to begin with? Idk if the shop i went to took them off or wtf because they should have informed me or sumn i would imagine, but i fixed it myself thanks to this video and also some help from my mom to be there to watch make sure i did things right and safe, it was a very fun “ tiring “ learning experience i will remember it forever!!! Cant wait to turn my 2016 Nissan rogue S into a rally racing car I definitely need new ball joints tho 😢 but all in due time!! Happy learning yall!!!

That's the proper way to do a break job and not a "pad slap". But good luck trying to get any garage to do it this way, they simply will not do it.

if its a 2019 or 2020 it is likely to have the electronic parking brake assist attached to the caliber, scan tool is needed to put the brakes into "service mode"

How can I get torque specs for a 2020 rogue without a Haynes ? I hear the Haynes manual is outdated. It looks as if they only changed 2008-2015 on the front cover to 2008-2020.

Do the clips for the brake pads need to go on a specific side or are they the same size for the top and bottom that sit in the groove of the bracket that hold the pads in place?

@@TRQ It certainly seems straight forward. It’s easy enough. Question: Re-pressurizing the brakes. Any bleeding needing to be done? Or simply pumping the brakes to reset them?
