Yo he made a big mistake though before you push a piston back open the bleeder valve or take the lid off the reservoir cuz you can't blow a line or you can cause the piston to go sideways in galaga groove on the inside then it starts leaking and you will lose brakes

Thanks for all your videos. Just a question on the lug nut torque: Shouldn't it be about 80 ft lbs on this particular car (79 ft lbs to be exact for the maximum)?

is a torque wrench required for the tire or can the standard wrench and jack set with the vehicle be used?

Every nut and bolt on every vehicle has a torque standard, but few mechanics use a torque wrench on every bolt. It just isn't practical, but on brakes you might be advised to use one. Some auto parts store chains have loaner special tools like torque wrenches you can either borrow or rent. In this video I would have reassembled with anti-seize on all those bolts. The lubrication contributes to a proper torque reading while ensuring thee parts will come apart next time.

+hhwong hong Thanks for checking us out! These are primarily used for the assembly of the vehicle in the factory, they are not needed. If you have them then you can definitely use them, it wont hurt either way.

what about bleeding the brakes? is this always necessary?

It's not always necessary. If the brake pedal is hard or soft after you perform the brake job, then you would need to bleed them.
