Great video. For myself I used your video to know how to remove the front fender so as to have access to the 2 bolts that attach the upper front door hinge to the body. I needed to tighten them because over time they got a bit loose. Thank you ! Very helpful !

Really glad it helped even though I made it for something else. Next time you do that, try blue thread locker or loctite which is medium strength. And for bolts you never want to loosen red or high strength! 😎

Was the replacement fender pre primed? If it was how did you paint it?

Yes it was. amzn.to/3JhK34V to scuff, clean with amzn.to/465frx7 paint with amzn.to/3XcnJzg clear with amzn.to/3NeJsBQ wet sand with amzn.to/3CxwEBH then cut and polish with machine. Wait at least a month before waxing or coating paint. 😎

How does it look now . 2021.. I got the 2007.. my top strips and my front bumper mess up . I'm hand sanding them and sprsy over with mix tin spray from auto shop .. there some Sand paper marks but I don't care . Just gonna shine it with clear coat n hope it hides them .

It still looks like new after I did it. You won’t get the sanding marks out without sanding them with progressively higher number sandpaper. Start with the highest number you can to repair, then keep going higher to remove scratches. Check this out - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXnKf5mnm9GIpLs This is one my favorite people on KZbin. He is such an unbelievable craftsman and painter. No way to fix after with wax or product if you don’t paint it right to begin with 😎

Just make sure you have a couple extra cans of spray paint. You will need at least two cans of paint and one big can of clear to do with a new fender so if you wanna buy one extra can of paint just to practice it’s worth the 10 or 15 bucks😎
