How about putting the axel nut on and tightening it up to specs? Kind of dangerous without the axel nut!

Have just been trying to change wheel hub on my 2004 CTS, but there i did run in to problem i have never even herd about before, the Brake disc is not fasten with a T30, whan you take the wheel off, and loosen the brake assembly it is all loose, and there isnt even a hole for any bolts, so actually i could take off the brake disk with the brakes and caliper on and seems like all that is holding it is the wheel nuts and caliper bracket, there is no hole for bolt on the hub either, any one whom have experienced that before?

How similar is a 2013 cts to this vehicle? I’m going to change out my noisy bearing in the next week or so. Should I do both sides, I heard that if one of the bearings is failing the other side isn’t far behind
