Nice video, and may be good for brand new vehicles, but my Escape has 195,000 miles on it and I have to cut the bolts with a Metabo cutter. 5mm l wrench just stripped right out, and the nuts are all frozen solid on the studs. I finally got them off by cutting at the ball joint, and using vice grips and 1400LB torque Impact wrench. I hope this help those who has a similar situation of Frozen rusted Escapes or any other vehicle.

I replaced these, with the exact same product. I had issues with the nuts coming off, i'm not sure why. I ended up placing my old swaylinks back in. If I attempt this replacement again i'm going to try and use lock nuts.

Loctite is always helpful for making sure that they don’t come off due to vibration, just put some on the threads and you should be set

When my car is jacked up, the sway bar hits the control arm. Do I need to remove both end links and rotate the sway bay so the sway bar is not hitting the control arm?

my passenger side went super smooth took 10 minutes and the drivers side took 3 hours cause the allen key part was completely rusted out and i had to cut both bolts great video but do i ever hate rust

How do you do it with a floor jack?

Jack up and suspend each side with a jack stand then change out each link if you run into issues with clearance or tight fit use a break bar to push the sway bar down or up to gain leverage

driver side of mine broke off at the bottom or the nut just came loose & fell off, not sure. called my mechanic & he said "dont worry bout it, they dont do anything anyways" i said ok screw it. but i still wanna get it fixed.

14 mm is nut size on fo mo. Socket is good.
