I appreciate your time to put this together...it helps a lot. However, for many of us who have a motor that quit with the window in the down position, we can't exactly use the motor to raise the glass into the upper position....so how does one get to those rivets to get the glass separated from the track?

What if the window is stuck on the bottom position and it wont go up? Any video on this for a 2001 Ford Sport trac rear passenger side window.

16:13 So is that bolt going through a hole in the glass or a hole in a metal piece that's attached to the glass?? I think mine became unattached from the metal on the glass, if the latter is the case. How do I attach that part to the glass??? Idk how to even Google this question but I remember my dad saying you need special soft glue so the glass doesn't break when it shakes.

I just changed mine a week ago but for some reason the window doesn't go all the way up, there's a 1/2 " gap between the glass and the frame, any ideas?

Why would you need to replace the regulator unless motor burned up.

Can any one tell me what size bolt i.e. 1/2 1ih i know they are 10mm but no one knows how long they have to be

The Spring on mine doesn't have any tension. When I put the Spring on the regulator and turn the piece around to get tension on the Spring, the center shaft just spins. I guess it broke loose... has anybody ever seen that before? Will it work like this?
