This video shows you how to install a fuel pump module assembly on your 2011-2018 RAM 1500 3.6L. Combustion engines need three things to operate: fuel, air, and spark. If your fuel pump isn’t delivering the fuel your engine needs, it will run poorly, or not at all. Or, the pump is fine, but your fuel gauge isn’t working. Many modern pumps include an integrated sending unit. Either way, a new engineered to fit fuel pump for TRQ is just what you need.
This repair was done on a 2016 Ram 1500 SLT 3.6L Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Great video! Didn’t take long to replace fuel pump with help from this video! I don’t have access to a lift so I used ramps on the rear tires which allowed great access underneath. For lowering the tank, made sure my tank was down to about a 1/4 tank so I could move it around myself as needed. I then used ratchet straps placed near the tank straps which allowed ease and a controlled drop to disconnect the lines and wires! Overall, a pretty easy fix for my fuel sender unit failure and saved myself hundreds!

Helpful video, was able to use this for the 5.7 hemi as well. But now the line loses pressure over night and takes a few extra seconds than before to startup... Issue with the new pump?

Can you please tell me what the 2 wire connector is that you removed @3:30 min in the video. When I changed my fuel tank one of the wires in the clip was out, I tried my best to reconnect it. I am just curious what it is for. Thanks!😊
