So it looks like you removed the massive regulator and just put the same one back in. My 4Runner's rear glass won't function any longer. So is it the regulator or the motor, or both? I'm confused....

what about the plastic pieces that are molded to the bottom of the glass? My plastic pieces are broken to include the nuts that are inside the plastic. How can we mount the new regulator if those plastic pieces are broken/missing?
