amzn.to/2mMPOAc Tools and stuff I recommend
Just a quick video showing how I replaced the power window motor on a 2002 Toyota Tundra. This would be the same or very similar process for all 2000-2006 Tundras.
The old motor would work for a little bit, but then it would just quit working after raising and lowering the window a couple times. I knew the switch was good, because I had tested that the motor was getting power by removing the connector at the motor and putting in my voltmeter leads while operating the switch up and down.
A couple mistakes I made in the video are:
1. Don't disconnect the motor from the regulator without clamping the moving arms in place.
2. Make sure the metal tabs on the 3M connectors are pushed all the way through the wires so they make a good connection.
Also, I am sorry if the audio volume jumps up and down...I was having a difficult time with editing the sound levels on this video.
Thanks for watching!
