Thanks for this tutorial! The headband, unlike the ear pads, is not an intuitive replacement. And the original is stitched on so obviously can't be an exact replacement but this seems like a decent solution as long as the velcro stays closed.

Let me get this straight: A $200 set of headphones, that the manufacturer doesn't supply replacement parts for, where you have to CUT the old pad off with scissors? Right. My next set of phones WON'T be Bose.

It looks like I have to buy a second new headband cushion, because mine from eBay is seamed on both sides, just like the original. I unscrewed additional part of the headset but I can’t find a way to put that on. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That Ebayer must have been smoking something! You'd have to disassemble the entire headset including detaching at least one ear piece and wire, in order to slip that thing on.

Hello, If you have the SoundTrue AE2 that has the cable w/ Mic and Volume control then yes. If you have the Bose SoundLink AE2 headphones then the answer is yes. There is a variation of the SoundTrue AE2 with the cable that does not have the volume and mic control, our headband will not fit that one because it's a different headband design. The headband pad on that variation is smaller and thinner. We do not carry replacement headbands for that variation at this time.

Hello, International shipping from the USA is very expensive. We don't make up the shipping charges, those are made by the shipping companies. If there was a way to bring it down we would but it's one of those things that's out of our control. Shipping to UK usually takes about 2-3 weeks. We have 3-6 weeks on our site because Covid-19 is still causing some delays depending on the Country being shipped to.
