I just want to say that I went down the list trying to find a video that would be easy to follow because I'm not always the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to automotive things but your video was spot on and the driver side took me about 20 minutes but the other one only took me maybe five and now I'm confident enough that in the future I can totally do it again without a video beside me. Remove the two bolts along the edge of the wheel well liner, pull it back and go through there.

Thank you so much! The hardest part for my 17 yr old daughter and I was, going to the hardware store to by the less than $20, T20 tool for the screw. I will be using my handy dandy tape gun to put her name on it, so her dad, my husband doesn't walk off with it. I am beyond so proud of ourselves to doing this!!

great instruction .. well done. I had a T20 Torque screw driver but it was too long - even with the wheels turned in as far as I could get them. I found a 1/8" L shaped allen key worked good. I had a bit of trouble getting the bulb cover back on - I did note there is an arrow on the cover that I'm guessing lines up with a similar mark the lamp housing. But as you have figured out it's pretty much all by feel as most of what your'e working with is not exactly in your line of sight. If you can manage to pay attention to the position the cover was in when you turned it anti-clockwise to take it off, I think that would help. Overall, easy enough to do - this video helped a lot as it stepped through the process.

What about if you replace the bulb but it didn't go on, I also checked the fuse boxes but they only reference the high beams, still check those fuses and they are still good, any thing I might have overlooked?

The cover for bulb has to be in the right position to be able to turn it. You can't get head in there to see what your doing so you'll have to feel around or remove tire

When you place the light bulb in, the wire connection should be around the 4 - 5 oclock position, should be at 6 oclock when fully seated. Make sure the old rubber seal from old bulb is not stuck in headlight housing.

Also; be sure that the old orangish O-ring around the base of the bulb comes out with the bulb or you won't be able to get the new one in.

Checking to see if this was in the comments. I just changed mine and was wondering what the heck was going on. Sure enough I finally noticed that the orange ring was left behind. Hard to notice when feeling around blindly.

Yep, just had this same issue. New bulb wouldn't seat, noticed the orange O-ring on top of the blue O-ring on the new bulb. Once I wasn't doubling up on O-rings, it locked in easily!

Make sure the old bulb gasket isnt stuck to the housing,you will never get the new bulb screwed back on, I took the tire off to see what was going on to figure it out

Too bad my 2015 and 2017 equinox's both dont have that nice access panel to do this. Please make a video for those of with us manufactured vehicles without these access panels on how to do this without having to go to the dealership for it.

I have same problem . Separate bulbs for high and low but they don’t show how to get to high beam unless you remove bumper and whole headlight assembly

Mine doesn't either. These guys just grab a car and make a statement based on the application in the book for what a product covers. Another guy assumed the same thing. I called him out on it and he laughed saying not all had it. If he knew that it should have been in the video. Either said while the installation was being done or they can go back and add text stating not all models have it

It would have been nice to get a close-up of how the wire connects to the back of the bulb. Next time, put the wire in front of the camera lens for a brief few seconds. The same goes for the wiring connections on the bulb, would like to see those in advance.
