Success-I am NOT mechanically inclined. Don’t laugh but I feel very accomplished for having followed these video instructions and actually being able to replace both my headlamp bulbs. Excellent video! THANK YOU!!!

Awesome guy that shows you exactly how to replace my headlights on my 2016 honda cr-v. I’m a girl that recently decided to do everything myself. Total independence. He showed the video exactly how to do the headlights. I’m ecstatic with his video. Thank you!!!!!

Great video! No one else showed the detail on how the clip worked, but I'm still having a problem. The bulb I took out had the top connection broken off in it and the connector was damaged. I crimped a new connector on but the low beam doesn't work. High beam does work. Any ideas what I could check? Thanks.

Good instruction video, HOWEVER your model years for the CR-V are inaccurate. 2015 and 2016 models are apparently differently setup. I discovered that when trying to change my daughter's 2015 low beam bulb (H11). You MUST first remove wiring -- there is a movable clip you must depress on the lower side that allows you to take it off. THEN, you simply turn the bulb 90° to remove it. It's actually very simple. No need to remove rubber gasket nor any hold down clips.

Hi when we remove the rubber cap it’s tugged tight over the end of the bulb, is it ok to just put it over when putting it back?
@VirarAutomotiveАй бұрын
Ideally no. You should put it back the way it is tight over the bulb. It prevents water and moisture from getting inside the headlight housing.

my 2015 honda CRV has H11 headlight bulb, and low beam and high beam are separate bulbs. Just as a heads up

Why wouldn't I want to touch the bulb with bare skin?
@VirarAutomotive10 ай бұрын
The oil from your skin gets on the glass surface. Then when you turn the bulb on the places where oil is on the glass surface heats up differently than the rest of the glass surface and that causes micro cracks on the glass surface. The inert gases inside the bulb escape through these micro cracks and then the bulb stops working. So basically you want to avoid touching the bulb's glass surface with your bare hands to prevent reducing the lifespan of the bulb. Hope this helps.

This rubber seal seems stuck on my wife's car, what do I do just yank it off?
@VirarAutomotive9 ай бұрын
First try peeling it off from the corners, like from the edges. Its possible if you try to just yank, then it may tear the seal if its stuck somewhere. But yeah its likely just stuck cause of moisture, dirt, grease.
@bryoncatterall9 ай бұрын
@VirarAutomotive yes the edges come off.. but seems stuck from what I can see around the bulb area..
