Thanks for this video! I also own a 2015 Pajero with HID, ever since I’ve changed the original Philips bulbs I’ve been having the same issue - the bulb (at 1st it was a fake Philips from Amazon, now Original Osram) shuts down after 60 seconds. Any idea how to eliminate if it’s the ballast or the bulb? The Osram did last 3 months.. the fake Philips since day 1😢

This sounds more like faulty ballast to me. But, do both lights do it or just one side? If its only one side, I would first try to switch the bulbs to see if its the bulb, since the bulb is cheaper to replace.

If you see the Low Beam Symbol flashing when you turn on the Ignition (MY15) it means the bulbs are drawing excess current and will fail soon. If you don't replace them, they could short out and damage the electronis driver !!

Can you replace these bulbs to h9/h11 led bulbs (bigger ones that come with a fan)? Like some sort of a conversion kit?

I suppose you could, but i don't see a reason to do it. If you have a problem with very bad light output, the projector bowls inside the headlights are burned and don't reflect light anymore. You will need to get them either replaced or refurbished.

You have to manage to squeeze in your hand somehow, otherwise unscrew and take out the headlight.
