Good video. Thanks for not playing dumb music in the background.

We try to have normal, down to earth helpful videos. I’m not a fan of music blasting in the background either

You bent that stud using the crowbar. Put a lug nut back on to hold rotor in place. Stick a screwdriver or bolt into the rotor slot and use the caliper bracket as a backstop. Loosen your axle nut. Reverse the process for putting it on.

Nice video. I have to do this procedure just to replace the dust shields.

Currie has a statement indicating the anti rock system can cause a little more body roll Vs the standard setup but it is better for off-road than on road. Do you see the body roll on road with the anti rock?

I run my Currie on the loosest setting - meant for Offroad. Their stiffest setting is supposed to be close to the stock sway bar set up. However, I’ve never run it on that setting so I’m not sure.

Did uou hear the noise why you changed them? Or was it preventative and heard the noise after the hub was off?
@_everydayoffroad_ Жыл бұрын
I had no noise prior to changing them. I had a tiny amount of vertical play in my wheel assembly and knew it was close to time, especially with how hard I am on the Jeep off-road.

I would protect those lug threads with a few nuts before jamming the crowbar in there.

Probably a wise move, but never had any issues before.

That is a super clean TJ. Mine only has 84k miles but it’s nowhere near that clean lol.

I got one with over 200,000 miles that's pretty damn clean. Have to do this. Got the Death Wobble and found a broken lug stud. Fun times.

At least slide the tire under its. That way if it falls you will not get crushed.
