If your Exploder only blows from one vent, most cases defrost only you need to replace the "mode door actuator" that lil guy lives behind the instrument cluster

Is this blend door the same one responsible for not allowing defrost or any change in the airflow? Our 2015 explorer only blows out the vents, we can't change where it comes out of, is this the same blend door for that? I have the blend door and a couple other tools you list, just wanted to make sure. I did watch a few videos and it looked higher up than that blend door you took out.

In my 2017 police utility I’ve noticed that when I have it on recirculation mode I get exterior smells coming in to the cabin example other car’s exhaust etc. will replacing this actuator fix the issue? I’m thinking that there’s a door flap that’s not closing and it’s probably the recirculation mode door.

My 2015 explorer sport the driver side just started blowing hot air when I had the air conditioner on. I saw this video I bought a new actuator. I did exactly what you said and I had no actuator on the driver side. Why is that?

Hello, I have a 2012 ford explorer XLT...I followed the video and took off all of the interior panels. I'm looking underneath...behind the center console...I'm not seeing the actuator, I do have the new actuator and it matches what's on your video, I just can't locate the installed actuator...please assist
