I used that tool and got the old belt off but I needed a little more for the new belt but the bottom hook of the tool bent.

@@clbcl5 Removing belt is way easier than installing it with a bent tool. You got it in? Thanks for watching.

@@WrenchingRyan No I did not get the new one in because tightening the tool only bent it more. I got the old one back on easily.

@@clbcl5 are you sure they gave you the right belt?

@@WrenchingRyan cross checked with goodyear. yes. just needed that extra 1/64 to get on the pulley. Had to give up cause if the tool broke I could not get the old but in perfect condition at 130K belt back on. I took it to a local shop and they did not research before attempting the swap if they had a tool, they did not. They have never worked on hybrids before. Would not even try a coolant change. They found a Kent Tool that they wanted to charge me for them to buy the tool.

I was going to attempt this but after watching you do it and the cost of the tool im just gonna let the dealership handle this one. Dealership quoted me 300$ for it
