How many tech fix the real problem and then charge for a new battery anyway. I saw a lot of this in the hvac business. I got more return business being honest and not gouging people. Retired early in my 50’s. Great work. My wife’s iPad Pro needs a new battery. Opening the screen always makes me nervous.

The device was open so I figured I would make a video about it. As for the other question I can only speak for myself. But most shops can’t solder the battery connector and are at the mercy of shops like mine that can. I frequently shoot myself in the foot and advise them against repairs. Especially with water damage. I’ve been in business long enough to not need someone’s money to keep the lights on so I take your approach and it generally works in my favor

Hi, I followed this. I encountered some hardships and am struggling to solve them. I somehow stained my screen at first, but didn't mind as I was happy to have changed my battery. A few moments later, I believe to have misscrewed back some of the screw holding back the flex cables of the screen from getting away or something like this, resulting in my ipad screen turning to black (no idea if it is shutdown, or the screen, or the battery that won't charge - i believe it is charging as i may feel the electricity flux when touching the ipad). I read somewhere that perhaps i had blown the backlight circuit and thus the screen non responding...

Did you disconnect the board from the battery. Either by lifting it up. Or using an isolator tool

hey man was watching an older video. How do you enter recovery mode. Is it possible to replace a iphone 11 mother board with a iphone xs one?

Unfortunately no. The boards are different sizes and all of the flex’s are different sized and in different places

@@repaironwheels I finally was able to get it done successfully by following a 13 pm housing replacement :)) anyway you can do power button replacement on 12 pm? Thanks!!
